Me: "So, what are we dreaming about tonight?"
Subconscious: "OMG YOU'RE IN A GIANT CASTLE"
Me: "I see."
Subconscious: "IT'S VERY SQUARE."
Subconscious: "AND NOW IT'S BLASTING OFF INTO SPACE."
Subconscious: "TO MEET YOUR NEW HUSBAND FROM YOUR ARRANGED MARRIAGE."
Me: "No good..."
Subconscious: "AND THERE'S YOUR MOM."
Subconscious: "AND YOUR THREE GRANDMAS AND YOUR GREAT-GRANDMA THELMA."
Subconscious: "AND NOW YOUR'RE STALKING ONE OF YOUR ONLINE FRIENDS FOR NO GOOD REASON."
Subconscious: "AND SHE'S WRITING A COMIC ABOUT LITTLE SCHOOLCHILDREN OMG LET'S TAKE A LOOK."
It went on like that, until I was awoke (awoken? awaked? wakii?) at 12:30 with Raging Toe. This is the fourth time it has happened, every time while I've been asleep, and only in my big toes (can't remember if it's always the same toe). For no reason I can discern, my toe will suddenly start feeling this terribly intense burning sensation, like the whole toe is on fire. Every time my heart beats, the whole toe throbs painfully. It's so painful that it wakes me up every time. Massaging it does no good. Ignoring it does no good because it hurts too much. I got up, ran it under some cold water and walked around on it for a few minutes, and it was back to normal in about 3 minutes. I'm worried that it might be some kind of blockage.
I'm so weird, inside and out.
Furthermore, last night I randomly made the connection that...hey, if you take the first letters of "also known as," you get "AKA," which is sort of like the AKA that means...um..."also known as." It's going to be a lot harder to finish my quilt if the assylum won't allow me sharp objects.
