I'm cleaning out the storage under my bed and just went through a huge box of old papers/tests/quizzes/reports/projects from high school and, my god, middle school. It's painful, I tell you. I'm so proud of the quality of my work now but I wasn't then. It's painful. The hideous handwriting and waste of space. The C's and D's on my chem tests, the scarily overdramatic English papers, the excuses on my history assignments, my frightening and arrogant rejection of evolution in molecular biology (!!!). I think one of the worst examples was my projects where I strove to understand world hunger by not eating for a day. The paper was called "Starvation: The Ultimate Hunger."
