Whine, moan, complain

In which I whine about homework...

Spent most of my free time yesterday doing my paper for Restoration, which is due Friday. That's done.

Spent the rest of the time working on my Genetics problem sheet, and finished all the problems but one (preen). Due on Monday.

Today, I read two chapters in my Econ textbook, and was then assigned a homework assignment for Friday. Two days notice for a homework chapter we have not yet read and have not gone over in class. AND we were also notified that our 2nd exam would be...Monday.

Came back to the house. Finished my written Genetics paper, due Monday. I'm going home on Friday and won't be back until Sunday afternoon at the earliest, so it's really important I finish this now.

So now, what I have to do is do my first draft of a 12 page, 10-point font internship proposal (which is USELESS), my short-sighted Econ homework, and study for my Econ exam. That means I spend the entire morning tomorrow (7 am to 1 pm) doing homework. I meet with my Econ professor at 1:15. Energy class from 2:00 to 3:15. Get back to the house at 3:30 and leave for cooking class at 3:45. Leave cooking class at 6:30. Then I take another precious few hours to study until a swing concert at 9:00 pm (it makes up absences in my participation-based swing class, and it's worth 2, so I gotta go).

Which Gashlycrumb Tiny are you?

Then I have class on Friday 'till 2:30, head out for Seattle at 3:00 and will probably arrive about 9 or 10. I will spend the weekend with my mom, having a good time. Arrive back in Moscow Sunday afternoon, take the Econ test Monday, then spend the rest of the week preparing my internship poster and studying for my Genetics exam on Friday. Small rant: our last exam was two weeks ago, on Friday. The professor left before the test for Asia, so it was administered by a sub, who has been running our class for the past few weeks. Dr. Z will then be back Friday or Monday, giving us only 2 or 3 periods with the actual professor of the class before the 4th exam.

Thing is, I've been working like a fiend for the past few days, and I still feel okay...but burnout is in sight. I'm just not sure when it's going to happen. When it does, I'm going to crash.

I studied as much as I could before almost conking out on the floor. Tyler called and could tell I needed a break, so he wandered over and we played Heroes of Might and Magic all evening. He seemed a little happier tonight, which is good. Good game...we wiped out the purple invaders, but green sneaked up while I was stalking blue and took my Rampart castle...and that just won't do. I dearly loves my Rampart castle (dendroids, pegasi, elves, unicorns, and dragons). So we'll reload it from a earlier time next week, when I can breathe just...a...little.

Bed! To bed!

Current good thing: The cold fog that enveloped town all morning. Made me feel at home.
