My room has completely exploded. All the drawers are empty, closet is empty, lots of boxes packed and lots of loose things rolling around.
Mike taught me how to drive a stick shift today, which was fun. I got back around 1:00 with every intention of studying, but I was so edgy I couldn't concentrate...did more packing instead. Then studied.
Oh, and here's what I have to know for the Econ exam on Monday (emphasis is mine).
Your final is Monday 7:30 - 9:30, regular classroom. The final is compresensive and covers Mankiw Ch 1-11, 13, 14, 15, 18. Since 15 and 18 have not been covered in lecture, I will test only on the basics of those chapters. Test also includes Miller Ch 1-4, 11, 13, 23-26, 30, 31; Old MM Trail, Mushroom Wars, all lectures. There will be some multiple choice questions, some bluebook questions of the sort you have had all semester. Prepare for test by studying all the material, rather than by studying past exams, quizzes. Good luck.
Studied econ for a few hours after packing, then went to Tyler's and watched movies. I'll spare you my depressed/self-destructive ramblings. Except this one: have you seen that scene in Grosse Pointe Blank at the reunion when the women shove the guy away (the one that was trying to dance with them). Tyler cheered for the women in the movie...taking the initaive and not letting them be pounced on by a flirty guy. I felt really bad for the guy...putting his heart and dignity on the line to try and impress someone he's had a crush on for 10 years, and getting physically pushed off. Our respective perspectives on that really bothered me.
Plan for tomorrow is to get the truck serviced in the morning, pick Tyler up, come back to the house and load the truck with all the things that will be in Kim and my apartment next fall. This includes all my computer hardware except for the tower, so this is the last post I'll be making from Moscow for a while. Drive down to Winchester, to Kim's bf's house to store it over the summer. Then come back here, load the car again with all the stuff that I will need over the summer, or the stuff that stays in Seattle permanently (some heavy boxes, small fridge, phone booth). Reassemble my bed. Study as much as I can stand without inducing an aneurysm. >twitch<
Take the What High School
Stereotype Are You? quiz, by Angel.
Monday morning...get up at 5:00, do the last of the packing and study. Honors Econ exam at 7:30 AM. Exam ends at 9:30 AM, Genetics exam begins at 10:00 AM. Genetics exam ends at noon. Drag my wretched body back to the house, do any final cleaning, check out, and, as they say, skedaddle.
I'm really glad I won't be in Moscow for the summer again. It was scary to realize that I'd lived here for almost two continuous years. Last Christmas break was the longest time I'd been home since the Christmas before.
>whine, moan, complain<
Anyway, that's the news. Sorry I'm so listless. Hope everyone's having a good weekend. Please think of me on Monday and wish me luck for the exams and the drive home. If I don't make it...Shaylith, I want you to have my LOTR CD, my Harry Potter books, my rainbow umbrella, and my Spirit Wolf, Blue gets my knife and cordless mouse, Feather gets her pick of my rare ponies and my nicest pitchforks...Mike, I don't think I would have anything that would interest you. Candy? >points to bulging sack in corner<
Pleh. I'm going to bed. >smiles blearily
