First day of my graduate education, come to that.
I'm taking more classes than I thought I would be, but it's still much fewer than I used to take. None of them are really what I consider to be "fun" classes, but that's the way it is. I have to get certain classes out of the way, and now is the time.
I have Statistical Analysis (401) MWF. I'm not excited, but I know the professor is good, and Tyler is taking it, so we'll be able to study together. Might as well get it out of the way now, and it might help me with planning.
I have Molecular Methods (FOR 504) MW, from 1:30 to 5:00. It's a long lab class, but this will teach me what I need to know about running gels and operating the sequencers in the lab. The nice thing is that this class only exists for two weeks.
I have Fundamentals of Research (FOR 510) TR from 11:00 to 1:00. This isn't a fun class either, but I thought it would help me get a good groundwork for my study.
Then I have 4 hours of research per week, and a small 1-credit literature review class that never meets. Not bad, no?
I need to do a better job of posting JOURNAL stuff in this journal every day, and not just when someting extraordinary happens.
Idaho is hot.
That is all.
